Positions Held
Professor Kim joined the faculty of Seattle University in 1999 after spending ten years as assistant/associate professor of information systems at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Right after he joined Seattle University, he played a key role in creating new majors in e-commerce and information systems at the undergraduate and graduate programs. He also serves as Director of Center for E-Commerce and Information Systems.
He has been conducting seminars on corporate information systems and strategies for government agencies and businesses of the United States, Korea, and Eastern European countries. He held a position as Research Fellow at J D Edwards and also teaches various executive programs.
Selected Publications
Prof. Kim has published articles in International Journal of E-Business Research, Journal of Systems Management, Data Base Management, Expert Systems with Applications, Management Decision, Logistics Information Management and others as well as numerous conference proceedings. He has several chapters in books such as Successful Software Reengineering, High-Performance Web Databases and Data Management Handbook.
