The Course Description

This course is an introduction into the technologies, applications, and the management of Information Technology (IT) in organizations. It is designed to provide the necessary framework to guide you to understand and effectively address the issues pertaining to the discipline of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS).

Learning Objectives

2. You can Think: Advanced Information Systems Concepts. You will be able to describe the ways in which IT/IS is used in business and how IT/IS is managed.

4. You can Build: Systems Development. By means of assignments, you will design and implement business web sites.
5. You can Manage: Behavioral and Organizational Issues. You will be able to identify and suggest appropriate responses to managerial and organizational issues stemming from development, implementation, and use of IT/IS.
